Michiel Hulshof, founder
Michiel is partner at Tertium, an Amsterdam-based office for research and strategy. From 2007 until 2011 he was the China correspondent for the Dutch weekly Vrij Nederland and press agency ANP. He has written features and opinion articles for news magazines (Vrij Nederland, Management Scope) and newspapers (de Volkskrant, NRC next, Trouw, die Tageszeitung). He lectures at  European universities (University of Amsterdam, Wageningen University, University of Leuven, TU Delft) on a regular basis. He co-authored several books, amongst which ‘How to Become a Politician?’ and ‘Moralitime’.

Daan Roggeveen, founder
Daan is partner at MORE Architecture, a Shanghai-based office for architecture and research. He has been working as an architect since 2003. Previously, he worked for MADA s.p.a.m. in Shanghai and NL Architects in Amsterdam.

Roggeveen is also the Curator at the University of Hong Kong / Shanghai Study Centre, where he leads the public program. Under his curatorship the school recently hosted the lecture series ‘Follow the Money’ and the exhibition ‘Olympic Cities’. He studied architecture at Delft University of Technology. He lectures at international universities (TU Delft, TU Berlin, Princeton, Columbia, Waseda) on a regular basis. He is an often-asked contributor to the debate about urban development in China.
